Mini Monkeys
As babies grow more curious and active, they move up to Mini Monkeys, where the day begins to take on a gentle pattern.
Older babies still enjoy flexible routines, but they naturally begin to settle into daily patterns, usually centred on mealtimes, sleep times and nappy changing. As they grow, we encourage independence in self-feeding and early language, with equipment carefully chosen to support their development.
By the time they are ready to move into the toddler unit, the children are confident with more structured routines. There is still lots of free play, alongside times set aside during the day to learn new skills such as painting, sand and water play, and listening to stories.
Nappies are changed every two and a half hours, and of course straight away whenever they are needed.
